a gay icon that has inspired peaceful coexistence between straights and
queers. the relatioonship beyween r2 and c3pio is both same sex and
crossspecies which i personally think is pretty stromng stuff for a film
made in 1972. apparently gearge lucas who made the film Star Wars wanted the hero to be pinkbut the studio saide that it was too obvius a symbol of gay pride. i really admire what They did because it was So forward thinking For the Time because gay men could mot be publicallly gay but there was this androide being so gay taht nobody even cared.
